SHADOW HILL'S LADIES
Although our ladies do not get as much public attention as our boys, Shadow Hill bitches, starting with an ASSA National Reserve Winners Bitch from our first 1979 litter, have consistently been exquisite representations of the breed. We have had several BIS and BISS bitches, numerous Register of Merit dams, and some all round top notch specimens that just did not get enough ring time.
Our all time fastest sheltie to finish was the beautiful CH Shadow Hill's Satin Ribbons, who finished her title in under 3 weeks from start to finish. We have been showing a dynamic duo of late, two blue full sisters, CH Shadow Hill's Star Chaser and CH Shadow Hill's Satin Dove. They have both had a great deal of acclaim in the show ring and have been hairs away from getting Awards of Merit at under four years of age. Our young Bi-blue bitch, CH Shadow Hill's Pickin' Wild Flowers, has exceptional breed type, among the best to be seen, and she is getting better and better as she matures. All in all, Shadow Hill has been very fortunate in our females... it really is as they say, BEHIND EVERY GREAT DOG IS A GREAT BITCH.
